Bruna Moreira Pereira de Carvalho

I'm a 2D animator born and raised in Brazil who came to Canada about 8 years ago. I have a Bacharel in Visual Arts (UNICAMP) but I always aimed towards becoming an animator.

I spent my childhood going to the brazilian animated festival Anima Mundi, where I learned the basic mechanics of animation and tested all sorts of mediums: stop-motion, pixilation, 2D animation, sand animation. But I fell in love with hand-drawn, frame-by-frame, classical animation.

After I graduated, I worked for a year at TV Piloto, an advertisement studio in São Paulo - Brazil, and then I came to Vancouver to study Classical Animation at VFS (Vancouver Film School).

My first job in Canada was at Titmouse, where I spent 6 years growing as an animator. I was able to work in projects such as:​
